Tattoo Question
    #4469551 - 07/29/05 02:28 PM (18 years, 7 months ago)

A friend of mine just got a tattoo (a permanent tattoo) and some of the ink is coming off onto her clothing. I was wondering if this is normal and if it isn't what should she do about it?

Just keep putting the cream on it. It's normal.

Wash, rinse, pat dry, ointment, repeat.

Yes, it's normal. Tell her to just keep it clean

follow everyones' advice - also try not to disturb the area until it heals - otherwise, it'll need to be touched up later.

well if you want it done right (which i suppose you will since you will have a tattoo for your whole life) then yes, it will be pricey... then again it depends on the size.... but realistic tattoos require a lot of work because of their intricate nature and the amount of detail... compare that to a tribal which is basically just an outline and a BUNCH of black ink to fill it up and you will get what i mean... i would say 75$ an hour (also depending on the artist) is a reasonable price...

probably $100 an hour & 6 hours of work - something like that. That could be one cool tattoo - black, gray shading, some white ink.
