My Conversation with the DEA....

....Sitting on the couch reading "Searching for the Sound", smoking some heady nugz, the phone rings, "High this blah, blah, with the DEA, how are you today?"  Panic.
Me: Good, and you? 
Lady on the phone: Good, I'm calling today to ask for supporter donations.
Me: Is it tax-deductable?
LP: No.
Me: If the guvment legalized drugs, they could be taxed, and you guys would have more funding.
LP: We're not for legalization.
Me: oh, OHHH???  Do you know how many people are in prison for non-violent possesion of Marijuana?  Do you know how much it costs the tax-payers per day, per person to keep them there?
LP: We need to keep drugz away from the children.
Me: How about we educate the children?
LP: Like how?
Me: Well getting rid of DARE was a really good start.
LP: That's your opinion, and we need people with different opinions, you would receive a supporter sticker.
Me: No, it's a fact the DARE program has been discontinued. Does the sticker have prison bars on it?
LP: Silence
Me: Do you support the medicinal use of Marijuana?
LP: That's really not my business.
Me: Well...then...I don't think I....really want to.. be a part of... your...business.
LP: Please keep us in mind for next year, click.

I hope I didn't fly too far into their radar, but I really felt the urge to speak my mind, we'll see if she calls back again :tongue2:

That was trippy how you talked with her..right on!!..it is true there are people in prison for non violent crimes to do with drugs, and some of them are in there a lot longer then violent criminals...it is pretty fucked up....But... I would not answer her that way because of my legal problems..I would just would tell them I don't have enough money to donate...sorry..

it's just a telemarketer... I had one from them and a couple of other cop
campaigns, it doesnt take much to answers if you lead the to believe you're
making a donation
