rss/sorting

hey anybody (seuss? )

do you have any idea how i can specify in an RSS feed that i'm making to sort ascending by date, instead of descending as it does by default? the feed is generated via a perl script, but anyhow - i need it to sort ascending... i've been searching google for some time to no avail, and thought somebody might know the answer to this? i'm using XML::RSS to generate it, via a script (ie my $rss = new XML::RSS (version => '1.0');), but if you even just know the 'field' that will tell the reader what order to sort, i could probably figure it out from there...

thanks!

well, i worked around it - kinda hacked the RC "date" field (the one that sorts it), so that it'll order them as i want - and then just put some lines in the 'description' field with the proper dates/times (it's for making an rss feed for a radio stations 'now playing', as well as what will be coming on next, and after that, and after that, etc - so it was sorting it descending, which would put now-playing as the oldest, and thus last, which while normally how you'd want it, isn't how i wanted it for this specific stream). but thanks for the help anyhow!
