allman brothers

sorry, this is kind of a double post...not enough people go to the music and arts forum, so i'm gonna post here too.

are there any good sites out there to download Allman Brothers music? i'm looking for sites that have live shows, like how there is archive.org and a few others for the Dead.

i'm new to the Allman Brothers and am going to pick up Eat A Peach tomorrow after a recommendation, and reading all the good reviews about it.

Pick up Live at Fillmore East, the double disc. It's their best stuff I'm telling you the "In the memory of Elizabeth Reed" will blow you away. Same goes for "Mountain Jam" and "Whipping Post". It was the first CD I bought by the Allmans and since they've become one of my favourite bands and I get to see them for the first time in August:grin:

nice, thanks. i'm gonna be seeing them august 20th. need to get to know them a lot more before i go to the show though. i'm getting my paycheck tomorrow, i figure i'll pick up a few of their cds.

the Allman Brothers don't allow the trading of audience taped recordings on the internet, you wont see any Allman Brothers on bt.etree, dimeadozen, the traders den, etc. etc.

but they do allow trading through the mail, so people trade their shows, but you cant get them off the internet.

damn, i guess i'm too late.

i downloaded some off limewire. i love can't you see, midnight rider, jessica, and ramblin man. can't wait to pick up a couple of cds tomorrow.

Hey! I just saw the Allman Bros. in Saratoga last night. They sound incredible, and even though Greg is probably hanging on by a thread he still can rock it. Derek Trucks' slide guitaring will blow your mind.

So get to a show if at all possible!
