Are these water droplets in areas where there is fuzzy mycelial growth? Ive also noticed extra moisture around these areas as opposed to the rhizomorphic growth which always appear dryer. Anyone explain the reason for this?

AFOAF just reciently noticed condensation around the botoms and sides of the jars hes doing . All he did was craked the seal on the lids to hopefullsy allow better gas exchange , he to has a heating pad underneath with temps at mid to high 80's . took him 2 days to see first signd of growth. most of the condensation areas are where its seems the cakes substrate was touching and now mycelum has come between them and has pull away , so like minor shrinkage of the cake cause you can see the verry small gap between the mycelum and the jar. those are the aereas where hes seeing most condensation. let me know what you guys think?

Unless the condensation seems excessive and your substrate looks like its drowning I wouldnt mess with the H20 ratio.

It's real simple. Inside the jar it's humid as hell, the water condenses on the (colder) glass. Just like an aquarium.

Kaarona-
usually you want to see a bit of moisture in jars- they grow better- as long as it isnt pooling or smelling bad- you're ok.
If the droplets are bothering you- shut off heater- im sure if they are almost colonized- you dont need the heat , unless you live in the tundra- PF Classic have been known to grow in 60 degree temps- the heat is making the water droplets-
Also, if you open the jars, knock out the dry verm, replace lids, and leave up sidedown, the air exchange will dry up droplets& give a boost to colonization.
Good Luck
