ahh nothin like waking up early in the morning after it rains and goin into the woods lighting a fat bowl and going to look for breakfast.. mother nature is so kind

sulfur shelf. harvested some plan on eating them later today mmm



bolete can anyone name the subspecies?




inky cap.. ive been trying to harvest them from this spot. they must come up over night and die in the a.m cus every time i look they are already melted

Very nice finds and pics of the first specimen. Some people get stomach upsets from it so be careful your first time to be sure you don't have any kind of reaction or sensitivity to it.
Tell us some more about that lbm if possible, it does look pretty interesting as mentioned above. Would go out there and pick it for further study if you haven't already.

i actually thought pan subs for like 1000ths of a second but i really just highly doubted it. i was going to take a spore print but theres only 1 freshy standing and the rest are pretty infested . heres the gills and a few others.. i figured it was a panaeolina foeniscii.. but definately looks like a good place for subbs to come because if i remember correctly they come on grass clippings and not only manure

On the bolete, is there reticulation on the stem? If so, does it extend more than halfway down the stem?

im not sure what it would mean to have a reticulating stem.. i looked up the definition but nothing clicks.. in the middle pic it shows the stem in more detail than i could probably explain it
