Grow Bags From SporeWorks

I have some bags from sporeworks, the ones with the filter patch only. I have read a few teks, including the one from sporeworks. I see that it's recommended to seal the bags with an impulse sealer. I have a foodsaver, but it has a seal only function, I wonder if that would seal such a bag (one that is not a foodsaver bag)?

Foodsaver bags has these little air lines in the baggage to allow air to be suked out, but my thinking is that with a regular spawn bag (term may not be correct) I could seal the bag with the seal only function.

I only want bags to drop jars; to grow the sub then break up and case.

Anyone with exp in foodsaver or impulse sealers please let me know.

Foodsaver type seals are about as thin as a human hair.
Which, doesn't work well for spawn bags. :thumbdown:

Impulse seals are 1/8th to 3/16ths thick.
Which, works perfectly for spawn bags. :thumbup:

Are you sure? I have a food saver, and it makes a 3/16" seal, very solid.
