The thing is I sincerely think that if my nose and ears looked better, my confidence would soar.  My confidence issues are weird.  Sometimes I am on top of the world...I can just work a room or a girl like I am a master.  The next day I will be a completely insecure dork.

I would not go for the Micheal Jackson look. I have been looking at some tasteful before and after pics. These people look infinitely better with their new noses.

Why does everybody seem to be so against plastic surgery? What if I get it done and I look better than before? What would be the harm in that?

What if you get it done and you don't like it though? I wouldn't risk the change. It is obviously your decision to be make though, just think long and hard about it before making that move.

Your call. I just think it's silly unless you're hideously deformed or disfigured. Besides, you may have money now, but if you keep wasting it on dumb crap like plastic surgery, you will soon be broke. Take the $10,000 and invest it wisely. You'll be glad you did, later!  :laugh:

That possibility definately does scare me. What if the doctor fucks up? What if it doesn't turn out as planned? What if things look worse than before? I'm thinking about all of that stuff. That's why I would go to a really good surgeon.

If you were to examine my face closely, it would become apparent that my ears are mishapen and my nose is too round and projects a little too much. A few tweaks here and there would make things look better in my opinion.


The thing about attractiveness is that a person will pretty much decide if you are attractive within maybe the first 10 seconds of looking at you. So if it takes a close examination for YOU to notice them, its guaranteed that most people won't even notice them during that time when they first see you. By the time someone does notice them, if they ever do, those characteristics won't be a deal breaker.

i think it's pretty gross and obvious when people have plastic surgery done... it's a pretty fitting name.... plastic surgery...


i do however think i need some work done on my nonse :lol: not on appearance, but on functionality, i have difficulty breathing thru it... i think the holes are too small and they clog easy...

I've seen some pics of bad surgeries.  But, I also seen pics of surgeries that were flawless and you would never suspect that the person had work done.

why dont you give that money away to someone that could use it? Instead of coating your ego in another layer. You arent the body. You are so much more. How can you let your beautiful natural body be altered for such a transparent/ethereal cause? Do you realize how ridiculous you sound? 10k man. Get a float tank! Make a garden! I dont know man! There is more to life than flattening out your nose and tucking in your ears. It would be better spent giving half to some homeless person I think,

I say did it if you have the desire. Nothing wrong with modifying your body to make yourself feel better - unless of course you go extreme. Keep the modification moderate, and you'll be fine.

I think it is odd that some of the people against plastic surgery are the same ones that think tattoos, piercings, fashion, hairstyle are cool. I think it's all the same, really.

Just dont go overboard.

But if you really want to improve your appearance, a cheaper and more healthier route to take is lifting weights/getting into shape. You'll feel better physically and you'll look good too.
