New Psilocybe Species from Koh Samui and SEM of Same

Just sent several collections of this Psilocybe to Guzman in Mexico for identification. I am also posting an SEM (one of 6) of the new species.

Observe the new unidentified psilocybe species growing in and amongst a small colony of Psilocybe samuiensis.



And here we see a high resolution scanning elctron micrograph I made showing germ pores of the unidentified Psilocybe species as well as the germination of spores.

Paul Stamets complete Mushroom Cultivator has a few sem photos, mycological journals also. look them up in abstracts at the local Univ. libraries.

ofcourse you cant demonstrate its a new species until a microscopic examination has been conducted

Yet i have found more than 5 species which Guzman has already id'ed as being a new species, except fr the ione frm cambodia, Psilocybe antiquensis, already identified from Antios, Colombia and from Mexico.

And this month I found a small collection of Psilocybe smauiensis form Angkor Wat near Banteay Kdei.
