can dogs smell shrooms??

If my second cousins uncle were to send actual mushrooms in the mail, would drug sniffing pooches be able to detect them if they were vacuum sealed??

The dogs are trained to sniff out anything 'unusual' and shrooms would certianly fit that bill. However, I don't think every package in the states gets sniffed by a dog.

a friend of mine does just that.. and in large quantities..
properly sealed its not likly that they even could smell it.. think of all the mildewy packages which would get hit..
just use saran wrap, then freezer bags..

The dogs aren't usually trained to hit on it. Otherwise, it would be no problem for them.

That sucks. I've been spending all this time training my dog to hunt shrooms. He's read the book and everything.

if theyve ever smelled cyans before tho lol a few ounces the smell would be easily identified

smells chronic :)

I am sure a dog can be trained do dectect anything however shrooms are not really that high up on the dea hitlist
