i think you have to eat ergot for it to hurt you but i could be way off. but post this in the contam forum and people with better knowledge will be able to help.

Exactly. Ergot doesn't poison you or kill you, it gives you ergotism... or "ergot poisoning" which is really just tripping on the alkaloids that are present in the ergot. It has other bad shit in it though which effects you in a bad way (lol I know really specific)... but its not a respiratory thing, you have to eat it.

Agar that pic is scaring the shit out of me lol. I like cats but that one is kinda kreepy.... =).

A while ago there was a strain of ergot discovered that produced LSD-25 instead of just the alkaloids. (cant find the info on it) but imagine if you could grow mushrooms containing Lysergic amides or even LSD-25. That'd take quite some time figuring out how to do.
