Rock legends PINK FLOYD have refused to make a comeback - despite the success of their one-off reunion for Saturday's (02JUL05) star-studded London Live 8 concert.

The band - ROGER WATERS, DAVE GILMOUR, NICK MASON and RICHARD WRIGHT - reunited for their first performance in 24 years, and thrilled fans by playing four hit tracks including MONEY and WISH YOU WERE HERE.

But the foursome insist they will never perform together again, because they are too old.

Mason said, "Why did we reform? It's a damn good way of spending a weekend."

But when asked if the reunion was a once-in-a-lifetime event, Gilmour replied, "Yes."

They must be well in their 50's or maybe even 60's by now. I guess I can't blame them, really. It'd be hard to match their performances when they were younger....

i like how floyd did it. im not a big fan of them, nor do i know very much about them at all, but i can respect why they dont wanna get back together

I saw lazer floyd when I was second grade, I thought it was the line up I guess not. Anyone else remember this tour. It was about 94-95. Onwe of my first concerts ever.

Well, in Mick Jagger's case, he has so much alimony he has to pay his numerous ex-wives. And Keith Richards probably has hefty medical bills to pay for his life support....  :tongue:

i loved their set..i think for some 60yr olds they still rock. there was a bit of sadness in the set it seemed
