Opiates

Just looking for some information on how psychedellic Opiates (Opium, Heroin) are compared to Hash or LSD?

For a long time I didnt think of Hash as psychedellic or of any spiritual use. But after I did LSD that all changed. I think the LSD made me more sensetive to the THC?

Would the Opiate high have potential for psychedellic or spiritual use?

How much similar to the Hashish high is an Opiate high?

Apples and oranges.

Hash has always been very psychedelic for me. I always get audio hallucinations, intense cevs, and the occaisional oevs. Maybe this would have been better suited in odd?

Opiates aren't psychedelic.

I don't feel any more introspective or any heightened
sense of consciousness and there's definitely no visual
stimulation either.

I like opiates at the end of a trip. They are NOT psychedelic, but a narcotic...sleepy, relaxed kind of a "chill"... not spiritual. Opiate high might be similar to hash if you ate or smoked a couple of grams...

Wrong forum, I think.
Opiates are nice for relaxing after work or the like.
They really have no spiritual uses, unless being doped-up and stuporous is your idea of spirituality.

I would disagree, opiates do have a certain psychedelic quality. Sleeping on opiates sometimes induces kind of a half-concious/half-dream state, which can be REALLY odd.

Regardless of what effects you get from them, opiates are not classified as psychedelic. They are classified as "Euphoric Depressant; Analgesic".

But a class is a name. You can get meaningful, nearly psychedelics effects from opiate nod.

I love opiates. They're quite the oppisite of psychedelics, I pretty much stop thinking about everything except how fuzzy and warm I feel :drooling:

i find it very easy to slip into a lucid state while nodding. in this state i have incredible controlled visuals. much like a dream which it pretty much is. i would say opiates definitely help me get to this state of mind, but i dont think the actual drug has any psychedelic properties.
