help identify please

I found a large shroom in my backyard growing in a moist area in dirt. It was about 3 inches tall and the cap had a circumference of about 2 and one half inches. The stem was white with a brown, fibrous inside. The gills were brown and the cap was a darker shade of white and shaped like psilocybe cubensis but did not bruise blue when handled. I dried it out and the cap turned a dark brown and the gills a dark black. SORRY FOR NOT POSTING A PIC WITH THIS INFO. Also I have found many shrooms in my yard growing in dirt that have slightly up-turned caps , white gills, white stems, and slightly white/brownish caps. poisonous? edible? or psilocybin? thanks for any responses...

dmgc4, i hope you mean "diameter" and not "circumference" in your description, were not all mathematicians here.
We cant ID your shroom without a pic unless you give all of the exact details, sorry. Whatever you have, its probably inactive (brown gills + no bluing = inactive).

Not professional mathematicians but "sum" of us can debunk your theorem that "(brown gills + no bluing = inactive)". Now we need a statistician to tell us the probability of how often this is actually true.
