Pasta ... It doesnt seem to work for me :confused:

about 4 days ago when a spore print arrived in the mail, i decided to do an experiment with pasta. I took three different types of pasta
boiled for 7 minutes put them in jars and steam sterilized for about an hour (no PC :frown: ) after letting them cool overnight i scraped some spores into each jar in my glove box. Its been 4 days now and no growth has occured. can anyone give me a reason why?  the jars are stored in an empty cupboard in my kitchen at aroun 79-83 degrees f. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?!  any suggestions?

i also inoculated a liquid culture of karo /boiled water (this one is seeming to work well the water is getting cloudy which from what ive read, is a sign before mycelial clouds begin to appear).
