While at the gathering!

Gr8tfulJ drove me 12 hours with no sleep and I drove myself another 2 and half to wake up this morning after 2 and half hours of sleep to find out that my boss doesn't want me working for him anymore. I don't know what the hell I did at all, he really doesn't have much of a reason since there's people on the crew who only show up a few days a week..besides the fact I gave notice and had it worked out.

Not that it matters since I already have a job with a raise and benefits, that only took one phone call this morning. Maybe I should just milk unemployment for the hell of it and take a vacation? hmmm


After tomorrow I probably won't be around much untill October I suppose, I'll be living out of roach hotels untill then.

Don't be sorry I really hated my boss, I got along with everyone there great but my boss and I didn't see eye to eye. It's a blessing, I've been meaning to find a new job for months but have been much to lazy and I was making okay money so I didn't really mind putting up with an asshole boss.

I didn't have health insurance before and I will now along with a 2 $ an hour raise from my old wages. Seems like a good deal to me.

I think I'm on vacation untill I hit the Gorge, my new job wants me to start tomorrow but I said let me call Wednesday. I suppose I could slip a week of work in before I left but a week canoeing and living off of a river sounds like much more fun.

Really the only part that sucks is I could of stayed longer had I known I wasn't working this morning.

The Gorge is July 2nd and 3rd.

I'm either canoeing the Missouri River between Nebraska and Iowa or the Little Sioux River in Northwest Iowa, if I don't go to work, I have to talk to my girlfriend when she gets off work, she's going to be pissed, she doesn't want me on the road.
