Well if I'm not mistaken in the bible they ate them right in the morning fresh. so they didnt dry them.. but they say the box or whatever that holds mana is holding shrooms. But I think everyone on this board knows that (i think it was Terence McKenna) compared mushrooms to what mana was described as in the bible.

Do i look like the pope? I dont know anything about the bible.. it was aproximately a year ago when my friend read it stoned and then told me about it a week later. Sorry if i offended you or something.. i meant no harm and didnt realize someone was going to take it personally. Hope we can all just smoke a splif and let this become a thing of the past?

My guess is that they ate them fresh Enter. I think we can find clues in the rituals of natives of the past and of now. Most rituals involved freshly picked mushrooms. So, I would go with fresh mushies. I also bet they still ate more mushies than most of us eat. Thus, having intense spiritual experiences.

I have recently read that the "manna" was a fictional creation by the early jews, to take away emphasis that ancient people had on the "earth mother".

"Look, our sky god can provide food, EVEN IN THE DESERT!!"

I am not going into it, but an excellant read is "The Alphabet and the Goddess" The arguement made is a very, very persuasive one.

Hugs and kisses to you too....Interesting subject you have brought up. One of the main reasons I ever tried mushrooms was because I wanted to experience what the ancients experienced. It's pretty wild to know that what we are experiencing, they did also. They gained knowledge and wisdom from their interactions with the mushrooms. It's something that I think about often.

The blatent obvious truth is we are a talking about a book.Not God, Not Gods words, words written by humans who were inspired.

The only obvious truth about the Bible is that no one knows the truth about the bible. You may believe, but thre is a difference betwen belief and truth. I was simply talking about another opinion I read about, that talks a lot about manna.
