LOL, I just saw a 3 star formation UFO. Time was about 3am. Also, witnessed by 5 other friends.

The formation flew rapidly across the sky. It appeared to be in space just as all the other stars. After a second or two one of the stars split of and headed of in a different direction.

The other two stars continued off in formation. Theres so much activity up there its insane. Watch half an hour of stars per evening after 12, you're practically guaranteed to see something strange...

There's a man from Australia named Bob Evans, who is an amateur astronomer of sorts.

Only it seems inappropriate to call Bob Evans an amateur. This man has an uncanny ability to memorize the stars, and has been devoted to searching the stars for supernovae since the early 80's. He's spotted somewhere around 50 supernovae at this point, when they show up, they just look like an extra star in the sky, and remain visible for several days.

Oliver Sacks, the neurologist who wrote a bunch of nifty books about strange neurological disorders, mentions him in one of his books, noting how bizarre his ability to memorize the stars is.

Bob Evans doesn't really seem to talk about UFOs at all.

Neither do most professional astronomers. In fact, it's quite rare for someone who is an expert on the night sky to claim to have seen a UFO.

Why is this?
