it has been raining for 3 weeks straight. today is the secong dry day and the temperatures have been scorching. i walk into my backyard and i find a yellow mushroom. i decide to go walk around and i found a myriad of little guys. i found a bunch that look promising. they were under some brushes growing right out of the red mulch. the gradience on top of the caps looks very familiar to cubensis. they have veils. only thing is, they're so black i can't see any blueing. they're not cracker dry yet. PLEASE HELP!


also, they had little bugs crawling inside of them. if they're actives, how do i get rid of those fuckers?

maybe not active. most actives bruise blue. I think most cubes have black gills, but I may be wrong. yours look brownish or tan? Not very experienced here, but they don't look like anything I've eaten

impossible to identify, too rotten.
and thats gross that you would consider eating that.
muhroom are as bad as meat for spoilage.

ive never seen cubes with blackgills dag, and what willis found are not cubes. infact they are too dry to be identified. those are most likely not active and should be discarded.



p.s. cubes grow from poop

if youre thinking about eating those dispite warnings, consider, they look more like dried conocybe falaris than anthing else i can think of.
and that would kill you almost for sure.
