The Nile Song by Floyd

Quote:
The Nile Song by Pink Floyd

I was standing by the Nile :headbang:
When I saw the lady smile :headbang:
I would take her for a while :headbang:
For a while :headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang:
Like tears that like a child :headbang:
How her golden hair was blowing wild :headbang:
Then she spread her wings to fly :headbang:
For to fly :headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang:

Soaring high above the breezes :headbang:
Going always where she pleases :headbang:
She will make it to the island :headbang:
In the Sun :headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang:
I will follow in her shadow :headbang:
And I'll watch her from my window :headbang:
One day I will catch her :headbang:
:headbanger:
She is calling from the deep :headbang:
Summoning my soul to endless sleep :headbang:
She is bound to drag me down :headbang:
Drag me down :headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang:

:headbanger::headbanger:

Me neither. I'll look for it on Limewire later, though. Thanks for the heads up LearyFan!  :thumbup:

Get it.  That song is a real fucking head banger.  It's still Pink Floyd, so it has that chill, psychedelic feel to it, but you could put that song in a punk compilation and no one would know the difference.

Put that song on right now and start head banging.

More is a cool PF album, I really like their soundtrack/theme music work.  If possible listen to 'em on vinyl.
The Nile song definetly rocks. :headbanger: :headbang:

Yes, third album.

Now check out Ibiza Bar from the same album.  It's basically the sequel to The Nile Song.  It's a continuation.  That song rocked so hard that they had to do it twice.  The Nile Song makes me bang my head forward as if to say "Yeah!  This rocks."  Ibiza Bar makes me shake my head from side to side as if to say "No, no, don't stop a-rockin'."

:headbang:
