P.Mexicana Casing

Okay, I know Stamets' TMC just talks about peat casing for most strains.
But it's time to case my P.M.s and I was just wondering if anyone out there had good experience using other methods.
Planning on:
Bottom layer: 2" of vermiculite
Middle: Mycelium covered Rye, Rye grass seed, Verm
Top(casing): 2parts peat moss, 1part Manure, 1part
vermiculite, 1 part lime powder

Does this sound good? any other suggestions?

Sounds all right to me, but I might miss out the manure, as seeing how (relatively) slowly mexicana mycelium grows, it might pose a contam risk.
