Just Caught My Dad Smokin a Joint

I just went outside to ask my dad whut he wanted for dinner and i seen him smokin a joint, he tried to hide it but it was obvious. i knew that he smoked before but i thought he had quit, i guess he just got sneakyer. when he caught me smokin a while ago he got really really pissed. kinda hypocritical dont you think? i want so bad to just go outside and be like "Dad, lets be straight and just smoke with each other!" it really would make our relationship much better having something we both like to do together, also, i want to just be like "look at the hydro i can get you!!!" how do u people think i should approach the situation?

If I cought my dad smoking a J id take the frostiest bud I could get my hands on and stick it in his face and see if he could turn down my offer.. Just make him an offer he can't refuse.

If thats not a good idea than maybe a fishing trip is in order?

I confronted him and he sed " When your 40 and have a fulltime job a house and a family then you can smoke weed too" i was gonna go into this whole thing about being 18 and doing it anyway but i decided it wasnt even worth the arguement, he'll come around

I guess I can see his point of view even though I don't agree with it on some levels.

If you can smoke daily and still get by in life then that's awesome. If it interferes with your personal life as with any other chemical then I agree with his opinion.

Hopefully he will warm up to the idea of smoking with you. If he does come around that would be sweet. It would be good bonding.
