Is unrefrigerated pizza edible?
    #4274828 - 06/09/05 05:31 AM (12 years, 18 days ago)

Say after 24 hours of being left out covered in a room temperature atmosphere. This is the utmost urgency, I need facts and opinions asap. Thank you.

i've taken sanitary courses in college for food service, and although it would be much safer to just not eat it. it probably wouldn't matter if you did if you keep a clean place and clean hands. bacteria and shit multiplies exponentially. a young healthy male's body would have no problem fighting off the basic and common bacteria toxins and molds and shit. spoiled dairy has the highest risk factor in the pizza, but it's probably so dry by now and coated in so much grease and oil it wouldn't matter.

i think the french ate old ass cheeses and breads that sat out forever way back in the day. most foods today are made with more preservatives though, that inhibit growth and shit even longer.

i'd say you're alright to eat....i'm willing to bet alot of people in this world, especially, broke slob college students, eat day old unrefridgerated pizza.

hell yeah it's edible! In fact I think pizza is best once it gets cold and dry! LOL!

Mmmm... cold pizza for breakfast... :drooling:

I've got mad roaches in my place though, so I would've put it in the fridge just so those little fuckers couldn't get to it.

Unrefrigerated pizza? 24 hours? sounds okay to me. As long as it was kept in the pizza box or something like it and there are no buggies around I think you should be fine.
