Blank_Generations's B+ PF-Tek Growlog, similar to the rest, newbie
    #4264353 -

So after a while of reading all the different guides/grow logs and such I finally recently figured out exactly what needs to be done and saw different ways of doing it. The true inspiration for me to get up and go with it came from this grow log:

That one will highly influence this one. I hope to get a good grow on my first attempt and I thought a grow log would help being able to ask questions to the experts at all.

Now I finished nailing the holes in the ball half pint ball jars I got from Walmart for around 9$. I hope I never go there again. The lids came in two parts, I hope this won't be a problem. Also do the holes look positioned right?

I plan on using all 12 jars in my first attempt.

Also today my spores from sporesdirect came today. Ordered on Wednesday and they came today  And to my surprise I got another 10cc syringe aswell really nice

I am now waiting on the Organice Brown Rice Flour and "professional" grade vermiculite from mycosupply. I simply tried a few places but couldn't find the verm or brown rice it's probably out there but this was pretty simple. Shipping was about 10$ I think the package is about 10lbs. I plan on using a 1&1/3 Cup vermiculite to 1/2 Cup flour per pint. How does that sound? The water will be added first then the flour.

I also purchased a 19qt rubbermaid I think I will use for drying hopefully. Also I first bought a big bag of Morning Song wild bird food, I decided to go with Vermiculite and Brown Rice Flour instead on my first run, however does anyone who if that will work? One last question would it be better to have 70% isopropyl alcohol rubbed gloves to handle the jars when coming out of the pot and into my box after strelization?

Thanks for reading.

Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.
