2 Weeks Notice
    #4243339 -

Fuck this grey cubicle.

Fuck the fact that eight months ago I asked if I could put some color on the walls and they told me that "the administration deems what decorations should go up around the new offices" and I'm still sitting here surrounded by various putrid shades of death, permeated only in the mornings when I set an ice coffee down before this computer, this piece of shit computer that needs to be restarted twice during an 8 hour day if I don't want it to freak out on me big time.

Fuck my boss, with his picket fence existence and his substance-free lifestyle that he likes to hold above my head just because once we had an honest discussion about smoking pot. He even admitted he enjoyed it when he was younger.

Fuck this job. :tongue2:

My last day of work will be the day before I pack my shit up for the NE2K5 gathering.  Seems mighty appropriate.  Now I don't have to think about returning to hell, while I travel to heaven.

Woot! Give it to the man, dude! I know that feeling you get when you decide to quit a job, suddenly they lose a lot of power over you. Way to go!

I can make out for about 2 months on the cashflow I have right now, so that's 2 months to look for a job and I think that's plenty of time.  I need to find a new job, and then a new apartment in a new neighborhood. I needed to drop this job in order to focus on a whole new start. And my birthday's a week from today...so I feel like it's time for lots of new beginnings!

Good luck with all that.

Generally I'd say that it's best to find a new job while
you still have one...seem less desperate and all, but
good luck to you.

Ps. At NE2K5, pleaes kick KOTT in the nuts for me. kthx.

I felt that way too but my job wasn't really leaving me much time (between that and class and too much live music) to look for a new job. I'd rather relax a couple of weeks and look for a job in some cafe with wireless internet than try and get it done in this place.

PS. k

Gotta love the molly...I've had a few too many nights sending that stuff down my tongue and up my nose. Always a pleasure. Literally.

You definitely should...that straight up droning technopop's gonna be perfect.

the only tix left were in the back of the house.

but...whatever!

plus, I totally forgot about that venue... I haven't
gotten my venue monitoring up to what it was when
I was in SF.

I knew about all shows all the time...here I'm still
trying to figure out what venues are worth keeping
an eye on.

Where are you living at now? You should check out the link in my sig to Loose Record and sign up for their mailer if they have one of your cities. I write for them and they send out weekly updates of live music in multiple areas (SF, LA, Portland, Chicago, NYC, etc).
