You need a very high spawn to compost rate to make it work. Equal parts has worked for me. I've been letting -Clyde- handle the pans and he has had failure after failure. But he kept trying to grow them like cubensis though. Deep substrate layer on all. I told him in the beginning to use a high ratio of spawn and shallow compost layer, but he is stubborn at times. Since were almost out of spore prints of pan trops I guess I need to get busy and just take this task on myself :)

2 More DB Questions for ya Ryche 1. What strains have you found to excell on this compost... it looks like you've tried almost every strain now. 2. Also, what happned to the updated pics and instructions to using the DB kit... your site has been dead for quite awhile now. The website gives a very vauge feel, perhaps you could take pics of the STEPS involved. Since you do these kits so often...

do you think there will be shipping problems at the u.s.\canada border for prints and syringes because of the terrorist attacks? are they going to be more nosey as to what goes across?

Ted: "Uh yeah, and I got you this paper bag to stop you from looking like James Brown in the Morning." Darlene: "Oh come now, I don't look anything like James Brown." Ted: "Hey kids, who does your mom look like in the morning?" Kids... in unison: "James Brown!" Darlene, "All right, thats enough... It's poison spaghetti for dinner tonight."
