need help setting up my router

ok so i got a router in a trade here threw the marketplace but i have no clue how to set it up. All i want it to be able to play my x-live and be online at the same time. the router is a linksys model# BEFSR41 in the back it has a port called "WAN" and then 4 cable ports (1-2-3-4) then another one called "up-link" now all i have is the wires for it. no software or directions so i don't know what to do. if someone can just tells me step by step how to hook it up that would be great! also i have Comcast Cable Internet.

Usually there is nothing to set up. Plug in and enjoy.

WRONG!!!

Plug in the router.
Hold in the 'reset' button for about 7 seconds.(resets previous owners settings)
Wait for the lights to stop blinking.

Now plug the cable modem into WAN.
Then make use of port 1 - 4... and thats it.

after it's plugged in to the computer, you can check out the configuration by going to

Username: <none>
Password: admin

Yep you can get manuals in PDF's off the internet.

Default netgear login and pass is admin/1234. Netgear default router ip address is 192.168.0.1.
