Can't initiate pinning

Hope someone can help. I am a newbee and birthed a single jar (1/4 pt) into a perlite humidified Rubbermaid container approximately 4 or 5 days ago. I want to work the kinks out on this cake before birthing the others (which I believe are ready, but am keeping 100% in the dark).
my setup:
I have no hygrometer. The walls of the terrarium are always damp with moisture (not dripping, but definately wet).
The terrarium is opaque, I have about a 4"x4" hole cut in the lid of the terrarium covered with Seran wrap to let light in. The setup sits near a window and gets indirect light for around 10 hrs a day. Where the terrarum sits is prolly in the lo to mid 70s (i know that this is not ideal) The cake itself sits on damp verm in a cake pan, the pan sits directly on the perlite.
My results so far:
I took the fastest colonizing jar and waited approximately 5 days after the visible portion of the jar was white with mycellium before birthing. I noticed upon birthing that the mycellium was very "flat" and matted from the confines of the jar (almost smooth). Now after several days in the terrarium, most of the cake is exhibiting fluffy white growth from the flat mycellium; especially around the bottom which sits on the damp verm. When I first started seeing the white fluffies I was encouraged, but no signs of pinheads yet.
Do you think enough light is actually getting in? What else can I do?

if not in ideal conditions, just takes more time. Just be patient. Trust me, you will get some mushrooms, just wait it out.

try fanning ur cake so all the co2 that has been building up in there can fanned out and all the o2 can be fanned in. try that if it doesn't work i have no clue.

it should be okay. just keep the fannings up. and next time if you do cakes, wait to see pins invitro. youre pretty much guaranteed fruits then, plus you wont be so anxious about the terrarium.

Thanks everyone for the info and suggestions! UPDATE: Came home today and opened it up to fan and inspect the cake. I now see the tiniest little white bumps starting to protrude from the cake. They definitly weren't there 12 hrs ago. Methinks it is primordia, some to most should turn into pinheads right? Ooooh I think I feel a tear of joy welling.

It does feel great when they just pop out of nowhere.
