using grass to provide o2 and remove c02???

I had the idea to add grass seed in my casing to remove Co2 and provide O2 so I don't have to fan ass much. I was planning on using finch seed spawn with a compost substrate , and casing the bottom of a rubber made container. Simular to the DB kits. If I add grass seed to the 50/50 casing, the grass will grow and absorb the co2 released by the mushrooms and add o2 and h2o to the terrium. this will simulate what nature dose naturally. Hopefuly without fanning or humidifiers. just some light and misting every few days.

this is just an idea but any input will help

my koalas has grass in its casing right now, he stole a slightly colonized cow tird, stole some cow food and put in bucket now grass is growing and mycelium is colonizing everything, has yet to give light but will soon...to be continued

time till the grass is producing much is longer than time till fruiting..
its not a bad idea, but search next time.. its been asked before..
the best CO2-> O2 plants are algae, and that could be incorporated into your airation stream if you use a bubbler, however the light requirements are a PIA...
look into sustainable life for NASA missions, alot of work there.
