rent $0
monthly income $4000
I live with Suffer, we're pretty close to the city. Just recently moved out of my apartment, I was paying $900 a month plus all utilities. That sucked.

Rent - ?324 per month
Income - ?600ish per month

Urban (student accommodation).

It's a bit expensive because my room is fairly small (although it's en suite) and I share a kitchen with 5 others (although it's a big kitchen). I'm not working at the moment (I'm studying full time for a law degree) so my income is from my student loan and my savings from the past 3 years.

Next year I'll only be paying around ?240 per month with the same income.

Please tell me a minimum wage job is higher than here, which is 5.15/hour. Christ I make over $14/hour and I live very comfortably here, yet you make 2K more than I do. If you moved to Ohio you'd be rich.

To be honest, I'm not sure what the minimum wage is here.  I make $23 an hour, and I'm lucky to be in an industry that pays well regardless of your location in the country.  We're planning on moving to Arizona in about a year, so hopefully, yes, I'll be rich there :laugh:

Rent = $450.
Monthly income somewhere around $1500/month.

I eat out a lot because I never want to cook so lots of my income goes towards food and also for beer and greenage.

you and me have nearly identical living costs/income. I purchase bulk grains and rices (there's an Indian grocery down the road that sells 2 kilo bags of rice for like $8 - that feeds me all month - I eat alot of curry dishes). I eat at restaurants a few times a week, but mostly I do cooking and purchase lots of fruits and vegetables and juice and tofu (im vegetarian).

"Six words: drop out, turn on, then come back and tune it in -and then drop out again, and turn on, and tune it back in-it's a rhythm- most of us think God made this universe in nature-subject object-predicate sentences-turn on, tune in, drop out- period, end of paragraph. Turn the page- it's all a rhythm- it's all a beat. You turn on, you find it inside, and then you have to come back (since you can't stay high all the time) and you have to build a better model. But don't get caught - don't get hooked - don't get attracted by the thing you're building, cause... you gotta drop out again. It's a cycle. Turn on, tune in, drop out. Keep it going, keep it going- the nervous system works that way. gotta keep it flowing- keep it flowing.

Yeah I gotta start cooking like that. I love curry dishes and even have a little experience making curry them but I'm just lazy I guess. But yes eating a lot of rice is a good way to stay fed cheaply.

I pay $500/month for rent. I have a room mate so we split it.

Pull in about $3,000-$3,500 a month, depending on a few factors.

I try to buy everything I can with cash, so I don't have mad bills pile up, leaves me pretty free to spend money on the fun stuff. I guess I do pretty good :smile:
