I know this does not belong here, but I recently recieved an e-mail from Rivers source Botanicals stating an AOL and Microsoft merger, and that they were doing beta testing. It said that anyone who forwarded this message would recieve $245 for each foreward. Anyone else get this E-mail? I'm wondering as to its validity.

Yeah I googled it. Seems to have been going on since '99. But I wonder why Rivers Source would send that?

Is that a legit botanical site? If so, they probably didn't send it. It's just sort of spamming scheme done by others.

Have you successfully grown peyote from their seeds?
I have considered purchasing from them, but their (online) catalogue only lists the genus 'lophophora' as an item, yet describes it as if it was the name of a species. This seems highly suspicious to me. Especially considering how difficult it is to visually distinguish between lophophora williamsii and lophophora diffusa. My email query regarding the issue was ignored.

I ordered from them many times during the mid nineties (when they were called Wildflowers of heaven), and I was very impressed with them.

I think ther might be legal reasons why they will not fully name them, esp since they could get in hot water if they list them LW. I think that in order to respect the vendor and their continuing existence I would not go there with a post talking about their sales of possible illegal substances. Let a sleeping dog lie. They are not about to admit selling peyote, nor should they.

fuck damn it should have bought some seeds I saw that but they just said lophora so I thought it wasn't willamsii
