Idea for making baddies in games

I wrote this up the other day about an idea I had involving making bad guys for video games...
It's alittle wordy and for some reason I felt the urge to use as many big words as possible...

Well i would have replyied over at that board but am too lazy to make an account, so ill post it over here.

Final Fantast 8 works kind of that way. When you start out every creature is around the same level as you, as you progress they stay around the same level you are. It makes the game possable to beat at any level since this applies to the bosses as well. This is kinda along the same line your talking about, the only difference is everyone still looks the same...

You approach the turnstiles and know that when
you get there you have to give the man two dollars
or he won't let you inside but when you get there
everything goes wrong.
