Man I haven't posted on the shroomery in ages, but I saw some shit yesterday that I had to share.
I went to this museum called the visionary arts museum in Baltimore, and there is this fantastic exhibition of contemporary art that deals with almost every aspect of drugs, addiction, the mind, etc. that you could think of. Some of the work dealt with the deepest pits of despair caused by addiction, some of it dealt with the scariest nightmarish visions that one can see on drugs, some of it dealt with the most profound aspects of entheogens, and the beauty of hallucination.
My favorite part was this entire section of art that was dedicated to lsd/mushrooms. Absolutely beautiful and eye opening. One painting was a three dimensional pattern of colors that the artist saw while shrooming and said she figured out that it was the fabric on which material reality exists. I could have looked at it all day.
Anyway, I want you shroomerites to go to this show if you get a chance. You won't be sorry!

Sounds fucking awesome. A shame I don't have transportation to baltimore. I really love art. Are there any pictures available online?

I couldn't find any pictures available but there is an article online about the exhibition that I think mentions some artists that you could search for. Here: http://www.avam.org/exhibitions/highonlife.html
