hip's doesnt allow for air exchange where 3m's does... check it out...

I've tried hip's tek twice and both times failed for me.......followed it exactly too. Was also very clean....don't know what went wrong.....

this is from a patent pic in growing gourmet & medicinal mushrooms, by paul stamets.

you can see kinda 3m's idea- but all thats in the neck of the bag is polyfil, nothing else. and the bag is "sealed" with electrical tape to hold the polyfil in place. i found the tek archived at the forest floor, but no pics :(

stores that sell fabric- sewing suppllies, and the like. they use it to make pillows and as the inner layer of some quilts. a bag is only like, 4$, and if you get into shakable quart jars- polyfil plugs are often used in the lids to facilitate air exchange while blocking contams (like filter disks).
