Can anyone here reccomend Hips Bulk Tek? (The one where you grow in oven bags.) To me, this is the most attractive tek, the reasons being threefold:
Avoidance of jar, pressure cooking etc.
Avoidance of building and misting a "greenhouse".
Bulk yeilds.
Any reccomendations or suggestions?

I have used the tek only with fp bags not oven bags and it worked fine but I still prefer pressure cooking Because I have one most likely

my wookie pet has already used this tek and have had success with it but he's back to the jars bcs he had some problems with bags... maybe its just bag quality, but they easily tear, not much resistent... and you're making it bulk, my wookie has come back to jars because if you lose a bag you lose a lot more substrate to the contams... jars are much cleaner in he's opinion... he says for you to try it and see how it works with you... just keep some prints (maybe jars too) just in case...

I.. hate this tek. I doubled teh bags, added a filter disc entrainment. 2 hours ago, it was cooled, I injected 5cc's sealed with tape. Picked up bag to begin breaking up substrate and to distribute teh spore water.. RIP, lost 10 cups verm and 2 pounds of BRF.. along with the bags and spores.. FUCK I was pissed. Anyways, I got more oven bags and I'm going to try it again.. maybe I should pick up some 500ml jars... hey, could they be baked?

That must've sucked... How fragile were the bags? I still see this as an attractive option, maybe it will take a first hand failure to convince me otherwise. I, of course, haven't tried it, but it just sounds so damn good!
I've never thought of baking jars before... If they can stand up to a pressure cooker surely they can stand up to an oven (but is an oven sufficient?). I don't see why this wouldn't work, but don't act on my advice.

The only problem I can see is the outside of the jars heating too much faster then the insides.. causing them to shatter.. if you gradually increaed your ovens temperature.. start at 50, then , then 100, then 150.. let it heat up slowly, then it might work.. the bags were rather fragile.. seemed almost glass like.. I didnt like them at all..
