hmm... orchid pots?

First let me say thanks to all that have contributed to THE site. I really admire all the Wizards that contribute an amazing amount of personal knowledge as they trial and error their way to perfect cultivation techniques. Perfect Fruit. I have read and read for months and recently had my first flush which was an amazing experience. The grow, the anticipation, the doorway. I have never been happier in my life. I was introduced to the Mushroom by a friend who was stationed near Seaside, OR, and that has been my Mecca every year since. Azures. Every fall was personal revelation. Now thanks to the .org I have a producing chamber full of active Manna (no azures yet, but damn are these cubes potent!), and I have taken notice of the "small round thing", and the "hoar frost"...(Exodus:16) Spirituality has not only taken on meaning, but has been starkly defined. Love. Zen. Yin. Yang. "Surfing the waves of chaos." I wish the rest of the world would wake up.
Well this is my first post ever and I just wanted to introduce myself, give my respect and appreciation, and share an idea. (I really need some shit...) Well I got to thinking about cakes and casings, and after seeing the flushes from casings compared to cakes, I wondered if a casing could be made that could stand the high humidity that is necessary for cakes inside a terrarium. I have grown some cannabis in the past and had some orchid pots (pots with holes). My thinking was: by letting the mycelium breath that is beneath the casing layer, the humidity would actually be less and by aerating the casing from underneath, and from the sides the RH would be closer to optimal. Just an idea, but the technique looks promising. Here's the first flush as the first veil drops. Absolutely beautiful.
Just some Azures from last year. Can't wait for this fall.
Well let me know what you all think.
Thank you everyone.
