Bring Me the Disco King
    #4104562 -

I love David Bowie...my first acid trip, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars essentially changed the entire course of my perception of life. I still may get the character of Ziggy's face tattooed on me someday. I love almost all of Bowie's catalogue, though he's faltered here and there (such as ...Hours, the worst album in history). Anywho, his last album, Reality, was 3/8 good, and 5/8 bad. But out of the good I think came one of the best Bowie songs ever written..

Bring Me the Disco King.

Now, go, download.

Acid doesn't give you truths; it builds machines that push the envelope of perception. Whatever revelations came to me then have dissolved like skywriting. All I really know is that those few years saddled me with a faith in the redemptive potential of the imagination which, however flat, stale and unprofitable the world seems to me now, I cannot for the life of me shake.

Labyrinth!

Bowie is a tightpant wearing pervert pimp in that movie.

Dude, what's with all the gratuitous crotch shots in that movie? Everytime they cut to a scene with him they like zoom out off of his highly protruding crotch encased in white spandex. He's so glam it hurts so good.

Yeah, I remember hearing this song on the Underworld soundtrack.
And Maynard is on it too! High quality.

David Bowie was in Labyrinth?
I didn't notice with Jennifer Connelly onscreen.
I have that Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders from Mars on vinyl, but I don't listen to it really.
