Shroomery Closing? Questions

well the thread was locked before a very important q was answered. It was asked by Mortician,

"For how long will this $1,000 suffice?"

so whats the deal Thor? will this be like a 1000 a month or something? Cause then u probably should just give up, I doubt the communitee can get that kinda cash, i hope i'm wrong, but i doubt it. U already put more effort and money into this then most people would have, maybe its just the end.

Nope, the Shroomery was racking up debts, not enough income too many expenses. This 1000 pays down all our bills and makes everything peachy.

We tried to get donations a few months ago, but alas it wasn't even close. Today we did this in one day, I'm damn impressed.

All the threads were closed except for the one in Off topic, I just figured it was enough to have one thread going and since we reached our goal I felt no need to have all the threads going, hope you don't think there was any other reason for closing them :smile:

Don't forget outside of all the monthly costs, I've had to pay lots of money for our move, registration fees, etc.... This money will pay that all down, and now things are looking great!

Don't worry, the shroomery is safe and secure now, honestly I wouldn't have let the shroomery close, I would have borrowed money to keep it afloat, I'm just ectatic that everyone jumped to help in a time of need :smile:

u really shouldn't do that, i know u care about this place but your life should be more important then this place, i think people owuld understand if something like this would happen, most would have not even but in a fraction of your efforts.
