Brazillian on Millet casing, 1st timer with a few questions

I have a casing that has began to form mycellium through the surface of the casing, it looks like 3-4 thin whispy white cotton balls in the center of the pan.

Would the next step from here be to patch up the slightly faster myc. in the center and wait to see myc. form more evenly through out the casing? or is it best to now initiate fruiting conditions?

also, i am concerned about the casing getting to dry, even though when makeing it i sprayed the shit out of my vermiculite to try and get it holding as much water as it could, is this just me being paranoid or would doing something like giving the casing a squirt in the corners hurt any?

I think im going to patch the aggressive myc., then let the mycellium form thinly over top on the rest of the pan then patch that. Is that correct? i have read that it is optimal to put it in the FC when the myc. is evenly colonized through out just below the surface. Pleaze correct me if im wrong but to acheive this dont you have to let mycelluim thinly cover the top of the casing then put a thin layer of casing mix over the whole thing?

patch the spots where the mycelium has came all the way through the casing layer onto the top.

you want the mycelium to just reach the casing layer...not come all the way through it.

too many people wait too long...and they get mycelium on top of the casing layer...and the pinset suffers from it.

keep your casing layer...moist.
do not get it too wet...and do not let it dry out.

After you case it, put it back into incubation.  Once you see that the mycelium is just under the top of the casing layer, put in into the fruiting chamber.  If you have your conditions right in both (incubator and fruiting chamber) the changes in temperature and fresh air will initiate the fruiting cycle, thus slowing down colonization...
