First experience with brownies tonight

Believe it or not, I've never tried brownies. I've never felt the desire to waste my weed. Today, I'll have the chance to try them. A friend gave me two of them.

She said it took 4 hours for her's to kick in. Supposedly, they're only half as potent as they should be because she split the butter between two batches of brownies by accident. So I might not even get to experience them the way they were intended, but it'll be interesting nonetheless.

Don't forget to come back and let us know how your experience was. I'm not one for eating my green a whole lot, although I do love baking it. I find myself less high and more stoned.

Yup, I'll be with you this evening. I had 2.5 grams of mids I simmered into milk and I just made it into hot chocolate. I love eating weed and never thought of it as wasteful, ever.

I've had them once before but they didn't take that long to take affect. It only took about a half hour. I would just munch like crazy..... but everyone is different.

I'm going to eat two of them. But supposedly they aren't that powerful. Who knows. Maybe I should eat them more than an hour before my shift is up. I want to enjoy them while I'm awake. I get off at 11pm EST.

Yup milk hits in like 15-30 minutes when I have an empty stomach. Brownies, cookies or what ever I cook my ganja into usually never take longer than 30-60 minutes.

dude, i've ODed on brownies 2 times... one time we put 5 ounces of bomb shwag in one batch... it was insane... I couldnt tell what the fuck was going on. I threw up all over myself while watching the polar express

It's hard to get the dosage right the first couple times but it's well worth in my opinion. There's plenty of guides on the net that are step by step and practically fool proof. You just need to cook in butter or milk for 20-30 minutes, using a double boiler is your best bet(put your bowl of weed and butter or milk, into a bowl of boiling water) that way you lower the chance of burning it. Keep the heat low you don't need a rolling boil.

After it's cooked into milk, oil, butter, ect. you can use it anyway you want, cook with it, rub it on toast, eat it plain, bake brownies, bread what ever man.


Learyfan, I've never really cared for brownies all that much, once in awhile it's cool but I prefer making pasta, cookies and milk. At shows and festivals they are big along with gooballs(YUM!), rice crispie treats and even cookies.

First time I ate weed I had about 5 grams of really nice bud on toasted cheese. This was when I was still at school. Ate it about 2am, fell asleep and then woke up completely fucked. It actually felt close to a near death experience. My whole thought process consisted of a completely bizarre abstract thought loop... It felt like falling, then hitting the ground, then falling, then hitting the ground. Not fun, but you live and learn.

I'm a pussy when it comes to weed though. Have fun Lfan.

Jesus that is one hefty dose buddy. I've been destroyed by 3.5 grams of brick weed back in my younger days. I never dose that high now.

I've only done it with Hash back in the day when it was very available........

I do remember it taking a long time to hit but lasting for up to 6-8 hours and just a great head!

1-2 grams of good hash per dose used to do just fine.

I was dealing both Black and Blond hash at the time and had an abundance of it around at all times. After a while we gave up on making brownies and just ate the stuff raw!

Tasted a bit like ass as I recall but it was only a small amount and you just washed it down with a beer and some JD to kill the taste!

orally ingesting cannabis... I like it for the first few hours, then I feel burnt and fucked until I am able to fall asleep. You're good and high for a looooong time, and then you get this sort of restless weed comedown thing going that also sticks around. And the next day I am completely depressed and useless. Weird huh?
