Great hygrometer

Just received one of these in the mail. Much better (and smaller) than some I have been using, and useful in calibrating the cheaper analog hygrometers....

Weird, I was just looking for something to replace my very out of tune reptile hydrometer. Plus it's also a thermometer? Sweet. Thanks man. Perfect timing...

Awesome,

I personally just stick my hands in and ck the sides of the terrium, lol....But that's under 20$....I hope it does well....I never really got one, most $$$ ones dont read well over 85% and some models just plain out suck and stop working, IMO ya dont need one....Only if you're like RK er Agar and you like to test things and Absoulty need to know....

But kool shit, I hope it helps :thumbup:

But I left mine in the car one day under the excruciatingly hot, arid arizona sun ( refer to scatterbrained comment, above ) - when I got back it seemed pretty haywire... its accuracy is now somewhat diminished, but it seems to still "mostly work".

These look remarkably similar! Very cool.
Have you kept that model in high humidity environments for an extended period of time? I'm always wary of that with electronic hygrometers...

I had 3 of the Flukes. None of which lasted more then 3 weeks. Was able to return them , Thank God, at 17 bucks a piece. Couldn't seem to handle the constant humidity.

Yeah, I think you just have to be careful with the electronic types. Not meant to be in a very wet environment for very long!!!

Yeah - the Fluker's seem a little Flakey.

I've yet to come across a reliable, accurate and precise digital thermo-hygrometer that's also affordable. S'a bummer.

Not very hard to tell if you are at 100% if you are doing cakes.
