Berlin to legalize Cannabis

I read this in a finnish paper yesterday. However I can't find any information about it online. Can anyone confirm this?

According to the paper the Berlin senate has just passed legislation legalizing purchase and possession of amounts up to 10 grams.

Anyone from Germany have a say on this? :confused:

hmmm i have no idea... but don't own a tv set so i wouldn't know, since i can't watch the news... and i can't find any info about it online... my brother is in berlin, i'm gonna ask him when i talk to him the next time...

i think it's not quite legalization, but decriminilization. i was in berlin last week, smoking and making joints in public, didn't even see so much as a strange stare (and saw many others doing the same thing)

make sure to visit Tacheles - it's a slightly bombed out building on Oranienburgerstrasse with a smoking club, a discotechque, and tons of artists workshops... coolest place i was while i was there

berlin is a city in germany. so id imagine if berlin does so would the entire country. and i have relatives in germany and they've heard nothin about it.
