i don't know what kind of number to put on it, but there are literally thousands of documents, that all point in one direction. really sure the government didn't maliciously release it. there are even documentaries on the subject.
many only know about it if the studied science in school or if they are sick.

there are slews of books written on this, and even the people that worked on the original project have acknowledged that they didn't do thing safely, and they debate between themselves if they did start it or not. the ones that "know" they started it seem creditable, and the ones that deny it seem really guilty.

pretty sure the head scientist, responsible for most of the lapses in safety, just died, denying it to his grave, but most that worked for him thought different.

i found all my research for my papers at the local library and even in some well know mags. like national geographic and rolling stone have covered this as the most widely excepted theory for the origin.

you know what the biggest human concern for earth was in the 1950s?

Population control
They figured that if they didn't do something soon, the way human populations were exploding, the Earth would be beyond its capacity to sustain them beyond the year 2000.

There are two ways to decrease the population:
1. Decrease the birth rate
2. Increase the death rate

ummmmm actually,

in the fifties the biggest concern was another world war with nuclear weapons, which would have done both things on your list.
just ask our parents, who used to have to practice bomb drills weekly, and wear dog tags.

so by that logic we could have just nuked a bunch of places and it would have been way easier to control than a disease.

and that's just it, the last thing the government needs is a epidemic like disease, with no cure.

so if they did release the virus, it wasn't a very skillful attack.

well do you think they wouldn't have a cure and a prophylactic before they released an epidemic? for themselves? friends.. family?

you just have to understand the mentality of the so called world leaders.. control is obtained through the implement of fear.. both mass populaces and individuals can be efficiently controlled and conditioned under a constant warning or overhanging threat of fear, directly and indirectly in their everyday lives. but to just start eliminating huge populations with nuclear weapons is a very bad idea for anyone involved. not only because everyone will see and it will cause political strife, but because it would villify the government or whoever was responsible.

It's much more efficient to be indirect, working behind the scenes where no one can see.. and projecting a distorted image of what is really going on... while also giving them a healthy dosing of FEAR as a distraction. But wait, war is a really good way to kill people 'legally'. And so is spreading diseases undetected. And changing the eating habits. Hmmm... the possibilities..

i understand,
i just think for this conspiracy theory, the scientists doing those immunization projects, have taken responsibility for what has happened. and the government didn't even have to help. probably saved them a bundle.

stop frightening me about moving to Florida, i already have some mixed feelings about that state. jk/
