so the 'rents have mice....

here in colorado the mice are common, IF you keep food in the dark areas they can be found. so they keep potatos and dog food(the ultimate food) in the garage. these lil' bastards have not only gotten into the potatos but also the "god" food. they thought that these CRAPPY ASSED plastic traps would work. this was b4 i moved back with them, usually i would use a cat but mine is reaching 22yrs old. do play the part of the hunter and use real traps or spend money i shouldn't and get those hippy type life saver traps? (i don't really care but i'm tired of hearing the scratching @ 4am.)???????????????????????????????

Go adopt 1 or 2 nasty, vicious, abandoned cats from your local pet shelter, I'm sure that would help out with your infestation.

The live traps generally don't work too well. Don't get glue traps either, those are completely inhumane, just the usual snappy traps.
