Can anyone name me some scientists, be it mathematicians or chemists or whatever, or also famous people that are known to have consumed psychedelics?

Alexander Shulgin, Albert Hoffman are two that come to mind.
Timothy Leary was at Harvard, however I believe he was dismissed and never even made associate professor.

Not a scientist, but Stephen King used to use psychedelics. He came up with the idea for the Dark Tower series while on Mescaline.

When I'm not looking for a job, I smoke like a goddamn chimney, and I could be considered a scientist. I've worked at research institutions which will remain unnamed, and I've smoked with many others.
In my experience, the geologists smoke alot of weed - professors and students, and the biologists drink alot. Alot of biologists smoke (me included), but generally seem to be drinkers.
Why do you ask?

I'm assuming you gathered this information from the movie "The Pirates of Silicon Valley." It was actually Steve Jobs who took the acid in the movie, and not Bill Gates. He also didn't design Windows. He stole it from Apple after they stole it from Xerox.
