Guys in the bathroom - a awkwardness that is universal
    #3978243 - 03/27/05 10:47 PM (19 years, 24 days ago)

Isnt it weird that whenever you walk in the bathroom and a dude is looking in the mirror (from fixing hair to popping pimples) that as soon as you walk in and make eye contact that person stops and walks out asap.

I usually stand my ground heh just to cause some weirdness or to see if the other person will be weirded out....a lot of times i will walk out asap too....

weird....

I'm the same way. If I'm adjusting my hair or makin sure I don't have a boogy hanging out and someone walks in I'll keep on keepin on.
But I hate when I'm standing at the urinal and somebody walks in. I just like to be alone when takin a leak or a dump. Of course, if I'm sittin in the stall I'll let a few rip when someone walks in, just to see if they'll laugh. Usually I'm the only one laughing.

hah...I usually dont shit in public....

I also have this weird thing where i wont use a bathroom(only small ones like in houses or some public ones) right after someone else....I gotta wait like 20 min or something....i dunno why but i just cant go right in.

Something about being in the same exact spot/stance as someone else just defficated at.

Guys aren't supposed to care about stuff like that (appearance), but they do. When they get busted looking at themselves in the mirror, it is all embarrassing.

It is a weird peculiarity of American men. When I walk into the bathroom and see a guy looking in the mirror, I kind of chuckle at him. Yet, as I am leaving the bathroom, I desperately want to see how my hair looks and shit. So, I'll either look in the mirror while hoping that nobody walks in, or I will be too scared that somebody will walk in and I won't chance it.

one time i walked in and some guy was doing that and he looked nervous or akward or something. so i walked over to the sink next to him and stuck my head under the water spout and turned it on and just stood there.

no doubt, he left with a hurry. don't ask me why i do things, i don't have an answer.

Yeah, I understand that. Whenever somebody walks out of the bathroom by me I hold my breath. I dunno what it is, it just started as a little kid and I can't stop doing it.

I find it more interesting how everyone internally knows the unrinal code...  Protocol of which urinals to take when X number of people are in, how to array yourself, and such.

Weirdness.

hah true. The other day this fucker came up and started pissing 2 over from me in a line of like 10.

Anyways he started shaking and not just shaking but his whole dam arm had to follow the motion(not like beating off--not to get your hopes up pervs) but he shook for like a minute. It was so weird. Then i had to go back to class with this kid.(he sits on other side of room though heh)

What is it with these excessive shakers?

Imagine the amount of force and movement a person would engage in if strangling and shaking a cat. I've seen dudes use that same amount of force and movement while shaking after they were done urinating. And I'll bet they still get a few drops on their pants.

No matter how you shake and how you dance, the last few drops go in your pants!

Sometimes I have to shake like crazy, too. I just hate it when you think its all out, but then when you zip your pants up, you feel a few more drops escape.

Has anybody examined public shitting etiquette?

The people that shit in public bathrooms either aren't afraid to be heard in their shitting efforts(about 15%) or are afraid to be heard (the other 85%).

I am one of the ones that are afraid to be heard. So, if I am on the shitter and someone walks in, I will wait until they leave to take a dump. I absolutely live in mortal fear of my "plop" being heard by another human soul.

At the same time, I have been in the bathroom with people who absolutely did not give a shit(no pun intended). I listened to them grunt, weaze, fart, plop, sigh, and wipe. They knew someone else was in the bathroom listening to their performance and they were not bothered at all.
