My Dad had a heart attack today

He had some slight cramping in his chest and then it got worse. If he woulda not went to ER when mother drove him....well....but he had a surgery(an angioplasty) and will have another in 2 days.

All seems well, but i was so scared the hour on my way to the hospital. I was scared i didn't get to have last words or something like that.... I'm scared for his next surgery.... i guess the whatever is clogged 90%.

Pray/hope for the best....My Easter will be with him in the hospital.....

Eck, harsh stuff man. Hope he does OK with the surgery. My grandfather had a heart attack last month and has been recovering since. When I heard the news I also had that dreadful thought of never having said things you wanted to say before it's too late. This kind of stuff can be really stressful for a family. Hope you guys get through it alright.

Sorry to hear that and best wishes for a full recovery. They've gotten quite sophisticated with this sort of thing, and I'm sure the chances are good that he'll make a full recovery. Best of wishes for you and yours...

my daughter needs heart surgery too. shes my little girl. shes already had verying degrees of heart failure and has been hospitalized for the past week. if she doesnt get better in a few more days there gonna go in early

Thanks everyone for the support! Ill send some mushies+5 to everyone later when i get a chance.

Well this morning they removed the thing from his leg(which was used to get to his heart) so he can now sit up. Everything seems well, but im just nervous for the surgery tomarrow :shrug:

Now my mom and I are making some colored eggs :tripping:

and then off to the hospital....
