Flax seeds/oil

So there has been some talk around about flax seeds...fiddler4u mentioned that it's best to grind flax seeds up for use in substrate cause they're gooey -- is it best to rinse them or anything (they're so damn gooey! stick on plates all the time where i work even thru the dishwasher!)...a lot of the good stuff is in the goo though...would adding a little but of pure flax seed oil to substrate be good? I know the stuff is good for humans...shine up your hair and make ya healthy and stuff...any wisdom?

since flax oil is oil, i found it doesn't really mix well with water, in the substrait.
I just mix the whole seeds into the substrait, it takes a while for the mycelium to eat through the shell, but once they do its a burst of goodness, usally just in time for the second flush or third flush.

I think its dumb when people say video games effect kids negatively.
I mean, if Pac-Man effected us, we'd all hang out in dark rooms, muching pills, and listening to repetitive music.

With seeds with a hard shell, such as flax seeds, it is advisable to soak them overnight prior to use. this always spores on them to germinate and be easier to kill in the pressure cooker.
