Found an old guitar

I was cleaning out an old house yesterday when I found an interesting looking guitar laying in the corner, covered in dust. I decided to bring it back and polish it up a little. After examining the guitar closely, I noticed there was nothing mentioned about who made the guitar. The only words printed on it are "steel reinforced neck", on the back. Anyone have any ideas of what sort of guitar this is? It looks pretty old. I showed it to a friend who is into guitars and he couldn't recognize it.

It sort of looks like an old Ibanez double cutaway les paul clone. The lawsuit era ones. Atleast the body looks like it, but the headstock doesn't look familiar. There is a big ass book called the guitar encyclopedia I believe, maybe you could find it in there. Maybe email that picture to places online to maybe Identify it.

looks like a mid to late 70's japanese guitar to me. there isnt a sticker somewhere inside one of the F-holes that has info on in?

also, jesus christ man, those strings are like 3 feet off the neck. could only be used for slide guitar unless the neck socket was shimmed.

Well i checked everywhere but I couldnt find any text or stickers. I am clueless when it comes to guitars, I have an old acoustic but I've never owned or tried playing an electric one. I'll take those suggestions and do some searches later on to see if i can come up with a pic of the same model somewhere.
