Millet Flour
    #394072 - 09/14/01 06:07 AM (22 years, 5 months ago)

Patriotic Greetings,

I was in the health food store the other day (not a regular occurence) and saw millet flour. I see lots of postings/teks which use grains as the colonizing substrate, especially for some of the "Pans" strains and wonderd if anyone had tried making a PF style cake using millet flour in place of/in addition to BRF.

Either way I'm gonna give it try next week.

Peace & Out!

Kyle

yes.. in the colonization process using millet flour in place of brf, using
Ryche Hawks finch seed recipe. Colonization seems slightly slower this time.
I used spores from same eq print. There could be a variable there in the
amount of spore, water evaporation & temp. But they are colonizing. How many flushes
is what remains to be seen. Try it. Millet is supposed to have a higher nutritional value.
I'll try to find a post from McMan re: higher protein and balance in substrates for you that
he recently posted on this subject.
